Why I created SpearBridge

Dear Reader,

Welcome to SpearBridge!

Let me first introduce myself: My name is Rohit Sinha and I am currently an undergraduate student in Frankfurt. Since the beginning of my studies I have realized that I enjoy reading, learning about various topics and expanding my knowledge. SpearBridge will be my platform where I will document my acquired knowledge in order to track my progress more accurately and also help readers discover new interests and provide them with interesting material to think about.

At first sight, the topics finance, psychology and philosophy seem extremely unrelated, however in the course of this website one of my aims will be to demonstrate how these three fields are indeed correlated. Key words such as financial philosophy (Aristotle) and behavioral economics describe two incredibly interesting fields that I plan to write more about.

In this context, the name SpearBridge becomes more comprehensible. Even though I will try to bridge the three main topics finance, psychology and philosophy in order to demonstrate how they are related, I will also be writing on several specialized articles targeting a niche area in a particular field.

I would like to encourage all readers to read my articles with a certain degree of skepticism and to share their questions, comments or thoughts with me.

Lastly I want to say that I am in no way an expert in any of these areas and will certainly misinterpret information or make other mistakes - my goal is simply to learn from those mistakes as much as possible and thereby eventually minimizing my margin of error as much as possible.

And if that doesn't work "I will just learn from the mistakes of people who take my advice".
